From Heart To Heart Festival

From Heart To Heart Festival of Orthodox culture was launched by St Elisabeth Convent (Minsk, Belarus) with the blessing of the Most Reverend Pavel, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl, the Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, in 2015.
This festival is held annually in various cities across Europe. Its goal is to show the beauty and richness of Orthodox culture and folk traditions, as well as to strengthen and develop ties among Christians.
The four-day programme of the festival includes the following cultural and educational events:
- Concerts and theatrical plays;
- Presentations of St Elisabeth Convent;
- Film shows and photo exhibitions;
- Workshop sessions led by the artisans who work at St Elisabeth Convent;
- Entertainment for children.
There will be a sale of products made with love and prayer in the icon painting, icon setting, ceramic, sewing, stained glass and other workshops of St Elisabeth Convent, as well as the Publishing House and the Studio in honour of St John the Warrior of St Elisabeth Convent, during all festival days.
From Heart To Heart Festival was held for the first time in 2015. Since that time, over 10,000 people have visited festival events. The Festival has already been held in Vienna, Berlin, London, Dublin, and Belgrade.
All proceeds go to charity.

Alexander Davidovich, who works in the boarding home and hosts the concerts, believes that every concert is like a breath of fresh air for The Joyful Hearts. “Yes, it calls for a lot of effort but it is a big celebration, too,” he adds.
